Welcome to the High Dynamic Range Images blog. I first noticed a HDR image early this year and became faschinated with this style instantly. I started experimenting with Photomatix and have been having a ball ever since.
The idea is to promote this method of making images and showcase some beautiful HDR artwork
My images can be found here and I have arranged my HDR’s into this set.

Since being on flicker I have noticed this HDR and glad that you have created this page to explain it – however I’m a beginner – what does it mean and how can I get it?
Many thanks.
Your images prompted me to invest in Photomatix, Asmundur, any tips or links on this style would be welcome, cheers Chris
Great site, great image!!
Hi,
This is Li from China. Currently, I am doing research on high dynamic range imaging technology — radiance recovery and tone mapping.
I just found that you had done a lot of work in shotting pictures and then produce tone mapped HDRIs.
I just have a enquiry. Is that possible for you to share some of your data with us for our research? The data I mean is the different exposured low dynamic range pictures when you shot a scene. With these data, we can have more advatage of testing our algorithms.
I really hope that I can obtain your support and helps.
Regards,
Li
Thank.

what is HDR how do they do it…
The pictures are wonderful! In looking at them I do have one question—how much work gors into making the photo, or are they unretouched?
Doesn’t anyone think that it makes their photos look like all the OTHER HDR photos?
Or that they came from an HDR imaging factory?
